Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions and guiding them through the purchasing process. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy, helping clients save on energy costs, and contributing to a sustainable future. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.
- Engage with clients to assess their energy needs and explain the benefits of solar technology.
- Provide detailed product knowledge and answer any questions regarding solar systems and installation processes.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for reaching new markets and expanding customer base.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using company CRM tools.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and following up post-installation to ensure satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in solar technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in solar sales or energy sales.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with technical sales concepts related to renewable energy is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a door-to-door sales environment.
- A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
