Role Description
ECMS currently have an opportunity for a Solution and Pricing Analyst at City of Industry, CA. In this challenging position you will work closely with Product Management, Key Account Management and Sales Department to develop and implement competitive standard marketing selling price as a guidance for small and medium size clients. You'll also responsible for project launch plan for new lanes and business initiatives.
- In charge of executive-appropriate pricing strategy and submit pricing proposals
- Build relationships and communicate with client procurement team and internal key account and sales team to understand market trends that will aid in review of pricing proposals
- Utilize data to assist with forecasting revenue and market share information.
- Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with active market trends and based on the analysis of internal and external data
- Responsible for project launch plan for new lanes and business initiatives. Implement as approved to ensure actual data are closely aligned with the forecast
- Effectively communicate and work closely with internal teams in different regions to successfully carry out the launch plan as scheduled.
- Identify and implement opportunities to further improve margin by ensuring that the right vendors are aligned to operate the lane.
- Work closely with sales and marketing personnel to develop and implement competitive standard marketing selling price as a guidance for small and medium size clients. Analyze data related to return on investment (ROI).
- Analyze hub cost structure by leveraging existed and forecasted data to evaluate operation management cost and processing cost at each hub depends on the nature of business
- Understand the capacity and productivity of each hub and vendor options in order to assess the impact related to each project’s Profit and Loss.
- Alert to volume fluctuation at each hub and linehaul availabilities for each lane in order to assess the impact related to each project’s Profit and Loss.
- Require great sense of urgency in order to meet various deadlines
- Create, prepare and distribute reports with results of findings
- Monitor the results of pricing decisions by evaluating performance in relation to budget and profit margins
- Prefer exposure in: logistics, distribution, warehousing, or transportation
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written
- Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2-3 years business/pricing analyst experience
- Strong analytical skills – moderate/advanced Excel, good at creating and analyzing business information, creating dashboards, tracking key business metrics; Experience writing/understanding SQL queries a plus
- Ability/willingness to communicate to internal and external stakeholders as well senior executives
- Superior organizational and time management skills; Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and keen attention to detail
