We are looking for an accomplished and innovative Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack, cloud-native applications with a strong emphasis on event-driven microservices. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys driving enterprise-scale solutions from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Lead the architecture and development of scalable, event-driven, cloud-native applications.
- Build simple, readable, and well-structured software components using modern coding practices.
Frameworks & Platforms
- Develop reusable frameworks and platforms to support enterprise-wide application development.
- Own the development lifecycle from requirement gathering to post-deployment support.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all reusable assets.
Cloud & Containerization
- Champion containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS-based orchestration (EKS, Lambda).
- Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and performant on cloud infrastructure.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with solutions architects, product owners, and domain experts to transform business requirements into technical deliverables.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams throughout implementation phases.
Troubleshooting & Optimization
- Debug and optimize complex systems to maintain high availability and system performance.
- Provide tier-3 support for production incidents.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, ADRs, and reusable design patterns.
- Ensure all solutions meet non-functional requirements like security, performance, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering with a strong record of delivering high-impact software products.
- 3+ years as an Application or Solutions Architect, delivering large-scale cloud-native solutions.
- Proven coding experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on AWS experience: Services like EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.
- Deep understanding of DevSecOps, InfoSec best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven track record of building reusable components and shared libraries.
- Strong experience with transactional enterprise systems and cloud-native patterns.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Developer) are highly desirable.
