Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Special Events Manager to oversee and coordinate a variety of events for our club, ensuring exceptional guest experiences from conception to execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in event planning, and the ability to communicate effectively with donors and vendors. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to negotiate contracts while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events including Golf Tournaments, Auctions, Trivia Nights, Sip N Shops and more
- Develop event marketing strategies to promote upcoming events and enhance attendance.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services at competitive rates.
- Provide outstanding guest services before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor event budgets and timelines to ensure all aspects of the event are executed within established parameters.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback for future improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning for non for profit organizations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests and donors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with donors, team members, and vendors.
- Proficient in negotiation skills for securing contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during event execution.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
