About Us:
Karter School of Ashburn is a brand-new early intervention center in Ashburn, VA, designed specifically for children ages 2 to 6 with special needs. We are committed to creating a warm, inclusive, and therapeutic space where every child receives the individualized attention they deserve to thrive—emotionally, socially, academically, and developmentally.

What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with our onsite ABA team of specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and other special needs.
- Collaborate with families, therapists, and school leadership to support each child’s growth.
- Create a structured yet playful learning environment that fosters developmental progress.
- Use evidence-based practices, including Montessori and play-based learning approaches.
- Observe, document, and assess student progress while adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field (required).
- State certification or licensure in Special Education (preferred).
- Experience working with children ages 2–6 with developmental disabilities.
- Warm, patient, and engaging personality with excellent communication skills.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, family-like environment.
