Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of young minds, ensuring that each child feels safe, valued, and engaged.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Engage with children in activities that enhance their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across all classrooms.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Experience
- A background in childhood development or education is essential.
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive relationships with students.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong caregiving skills and the ability to educate young children through engaging activities.
