Piper Companies is seeking a Splunk Architect to join a world wide organization located in Fulton, MD. The Splunk Architect will need to have experience building and creating platforms. Due to the nature of the work, the Splunk Architect will need to be a US Citizen and needs to sit on site 2-3 days per week in Fulton, MD.
Responsibilities for the Splunk Architect:
- Design and implement Splunk infrastructure and architecture solutions.
- Administer, engineer, and manage Splunk environments ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide valuable insights and meet business requirements.
- Configure and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including data ingestion, forwarders, and indexers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document use cases, requirements, and architecture.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for Splunk environments.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements for the Splunk Architect:
- Strong background in Splunk administration, engineering, and architecture.
- Proficient in creating and managing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Deep understanding of Splunk configuration, data ingestion, and infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Compensation for the Splunk Architect:
- Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000, Depending on Experience
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
