Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, EHS – Transportation Risk is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of transportation safety and risk management programs across the enterprise. This role serves as the subject matter expert for transportation-related EHS risks and provides strategic oversight, guidance, and support for all vehicle operations, including commercial motor vehicles (CDL and non-CDL drivers), on-road fleet vehicles, and off-road transportation equipment.

- Starting Wage: $78,000 - $110,000 + Annual Bonus

Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage the enterprise Transportation Risk Management Program.
- Provide oversight and support for all transportation operations across the organization.
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to transportation safety.
- Support operations involving:
- Commercial Drivers (CDL)
- Non-CDL Drivers
- Fleet vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, utility vehicles)
- Off-road vehicles (snowmobiles, snowcats, ATVs/UTVs, specialty equipment)
- Lead transportation-related risk assessments and hazard evaluations.
- Analyze transportation incidents, losses, and trends to drive preventive actions.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and emerging transportation safety requirements.
- Partner with business leaders to improve driver qualification, training, and accountability programs.
- Coordinate enterprise transportation safety initiatives and performance reporting.
- Provide subject matter expertise during incident investigations, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, and leading indicators to measure program effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- BS in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or similar preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience working in Transportation compliance, Health and Safety or related field
- Highly Preferred: CDL (Commercial Driver's License), CVSA Certifications, CSP, ASP
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word), Safety Management Systems
- Proficiency with English (required) and Spanish (preferred)
- Experience developing, implementing, or supporting safety programs involving vehicle operations, fleet management, transportation safety, or driver safety.
- Working knowledge of applicable transportation and occupational safety regulations, including DOT/FMCSA requirements and OSHA regulations.
- Experience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $78,000 - $110,000 + Annual Bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
