Responsibilities & Accountabilities\:

1. Supplier Engagement\:

•Lead Supplier Management Framework (SMF) roll out to new suppliers and refresher update on annual basis.

•Develop and deliver training programs to ensure suppliers understand compliance requirements and best practices

•To develop and identify collaborative opportunities, cross industry and stakeholder driven platforms and projects that can help to deliver the strategy

2. Supplier Regulatory Compliance Management\:

• Market intelligence on the evolution on laws, regulations, industry standards that has impact to suppliers.

• Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure supplier’s continuous compliance.

• Keep accurate records of compliance activities, risk assessments, and mitigation plans

3.Responsible Sourcing Policy Updates\:

• Implement Responsible Sourcing policies internally by supporting the creation of and maintaining trainings and informational tools.

4. Assessment thru 3rd Party Audit\:

• Collaborate with QA to ensure supplier qualification/verification is conducted via factory visits and 3rd party audits.

• Conduct & review annual supplier risk assessment to refresh, determine and manage new risks based on continuous business needs and market environment dynamics

• Driving suppliers to ensure labor rights and regulatory compliance are upheld across the supply chain.

• To report monthly status progress of supplier risk assessment improvement plan in a structured and defined manners. Ensure deadlines of non-compliances closing are met within defined timeline.

6. Collaborate Across Departments\:

• Partner with cross functional team to integrate compliance into business processes.

7. Scope coverage\:

• # of key Suppliers coverage\: 300++

• Spend coverage\: $600M++

• Categories\: Direct, Indirect, Plant and Corporate

Key Requirements\:-

Education\:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

Job Experience\:

  • Preferred\: 10+ years supply chain or procurement experience; regional work experience

Knowledge & Skills\:

  • Working as a Global/Regional Team\: Ability to work as part of a virtual global/regional team to collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries to deliver better business results and share best practices across a global System
  • Data and Analytics\: Ability to use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions
  • Competitive Analysis\: Knowledge of sources for competitive analysis including supplier and industry data to build competitive intelligence, inform business planning and optimize decision-making
  • Contracts and Agreements\: Ability to read, edit and interpret contractual documentation. Knowledge of contract terms, applications and legal requirements, including the ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements. Ability to explain requirements contained in agreements. Knowledge of the types of agreements and the appropriate usage under various customer circumstances. Ability to explain, at a high level, the legal implications of a contract agreement. Ability to lead the process of completing and compiling agreements. Ability to insert contract language that operationalizes business relationships with suppliers to protect Ansell interests and withstand legal challenges.

  • Procurement Knowledge\: Knowledge of procurement processes and applications in diverse categories to deliver value for the business. Includes the ability to use financial models, industry knowledge, and the client's business requirements to develop and implement optimized business solutions
