About the Team
The People Technology Product team builds the internal tools and frameworks that power every employee’s journey at DoorDash. We combine a hybrid “build + buy” approach to deliver intelligent, scalable, and people-centric experiences across hiring, onboarding, learning, performance, compensation, and more. Our team partners closely with Engineering, Analytics, People/HR, and IT to design and develop products that connect and elevate the entire People Tech stack. We’re redefining how great employee experiences are built from the inside out.
About the Role
We’re reimagining how DoorDash hires and scales talent — and we’re hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead the charge on Talent Acquisition technology. This is a critical individual contributor role on the People Technology Product team, focused on building and optimizing the products that power recruiting processes such as High Volume Hiring, Corporate Hiring, and Requisite Management across the company globally.
You’ll be the end-to-end product owner for a hybrid ecosystem of first-party and third-party tools (including platforms like Greenhouse), responsible for making hiring faster, smarter, and more seamless for candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers. Whether you’re streamlining recruiter workflows, automating headcount approvals, or improving how hiring plans connect to our systems, you’ll drive real impact across every step of the recruiting lifecycle.
This role is ideal for a product leader who thrives on making systems better, isn’t afraid of complexity, and wants to drive business-critical outcomes at scale.
What You’ll Own
- Lead Hiring Product Strategy: Define and drive the roadmap for DoorDash’s Talent Acquisition products — including high-volume frontline hiring and corporate requisition workflows.
- Integrate and Improve Systems: Work across third-party platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) and custom-built tools to create cohesive, efficient, and delightful recruiter and candidate experiences.
- Optimize for Scale: Design and deliver automation that reduces manual work, accelerates time-to-hire, and increases visibility into headcount and hiring pipelines.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Recruiting, IT, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance to define success, align stakeholders, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Bring Product Excellence to People Tech: Define problems clearly, scope MVPs wisely, and deliver with speed and quality — raising the bar for how we build internal products.
You’re excited about this role because you…
- Have a track record of building and optimizing internal products or operational workflows — especially in People, Recruiting, or Business Systems environments.
- Are comfortable working with and improving third-party SaaS platforms, and know when to build custom tools versus configuring what already exists.
- Love turning complexity into simplicity — especially in areas like approval flows, hiring logic, and recruiter enablement.
- Collaborate naturally with engineers, recruiters, and stakeholders of all levels, and take pride in delivering systems people want to use.
- Are a strong communicator who can explain product decisions clearly, even when juggling speed, risk, and technical constraints.
We’re excited about you because you…
- Have 6+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of building platform tools, internal products, or cross-cutting frameworks at scale. (People/HR tech experience is a plus but not required)
- Have led initiatives that simplify or automate manual workflows, especially through thoughtful systems design or tooling improvements.
- Excel in ambiguous, 0→1 spaces where you balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver high-impact solutions quickly.
- Are a clear and empathetic communicator who can earn trust across engineering, recruiting, HR, and operations teams.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to prioritize ruthlessly, ship iteratively, and continuously improve the end-user experience.
We expect this position to be filled by 10/10/2025.
