As a Staff Services Analyst you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate personnel liaison responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Staff Services Manager I (SSM) to ensure the timely processing and proper documentation of recruitment activities, including preparing and submitting Request for Personnel Action (RPA) packages
- These personnel-related tasks include assisting with the preparation of justifications, duty statements, and organizational charts for RPA packages; supporting hiring managers with preparing interview matrices; scheduling candidate interviews; updating the recruitment tracker; and taking notes for each recruitment to ensure complete documentation for the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC)
- Assist the SSM with onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of OLC Staff, including coordinating IT setup and access, preparing required documentation, and facilitating seamless integration into the team
- Support recruitment efforts by assisting the SSM with organizing event participation and maintaining communication between the management team, employees, and law clerks to ensure smooth program operations
- Experience with Personnel and HR-related processes
- Strong Organizational Skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal or administrative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion, particularly when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
- Proficiency with administrative and tracking systems, such as Smartsheet, SharePoint, or Legal Case Management Tools
- Understanding state leave programs and benefit systems, including FMLA, CFRA, SDI, and NDI
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and support team goals
- Experience coordinating or supporting internship/law clerk programs or similar educational partnerships
- Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and formatting of legal documents
