About Us
We are HRAIT, the recruitment division of AIT, currently expanding our Honolulu, Hawaii branch. We are seeking a proactive and organized Staffing Recruiter to join our Temporary Staffing Division.
This position involves not only sourcing and placing candidates, but also engaging in new business development and managing administrative follow-ups such as contract documentation and payroll coordination. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, bilingual (English/Japanese) work environment.
Job Description:
Recruiting & Staffing Operations
- Create and post job openings through job boards, company website, and social media
- Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for temporary/contract positions
- Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback between clients and candidates
- Match qualified candidates with appropriate job openings and manage the full hiring process
- Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Provide ongoing support to active temporary staff (e.g., worksite check-ins, issue resolution)
Client Relations & Business Development
- Conduct outreach to potential new clients and generate staffing opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client companies
- Understand client needs and tailor staffing solutions accordingly
- Propose candidates and follow up on interview outcomes and hiring decisions
Administrative Follow-up
- Prepare and collect necessary documentation, including contracts, onboarding forms, and timesheets
- Track and follow up on timekeeping and payroll submissions from temporary staff
- Coordinate closely with payroll and accounting departments to ensure timely and accurate wage payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems (ATS, CRM, Excel, etc.)
Requirements:
- Business to professional level English proficiency
- Business level Japanese proficiency
- Sales or recruitment experience (required)
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Strong communication and self-management skills
- Bonus: Knowledge in IT or marketing
