We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stockroom Utility Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient handling, organization, and movement of materials within the stockroom. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and store incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain organized stockroom inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Pick and stage items for production or shipping as required
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment safely (if applicable)
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom
- Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience a plus
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.70 - $26.10 per hour
