Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Retail Stockroom Supervisor to oversee our stockroom operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient stock handling, and leading a team to maintain optimal stock levels. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with customers while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the stockroom, including receiving, sorting, storing ,scheduling pick up for donation and deliveries for purchased item to customers.
- Organize stockroom layout for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
- Communicate with processing team lead to ensure alignment on inventory needs and product availability.
- Assist with loading and unloading truck and customers vehicles
- Assist with stocking furniture showroom floor and etc.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or stock management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and customers.
- Experience in training development to enhance team performance is a plus
- Able to lift, at least 50 lbs., bend, climb, and knowledge of use of pallet jack or dolly
