Summary
Balfour Beatty in partnership with Fluor have been awarded the $1.7B I-635 LBJ East project in Dallas. Pegasus Link Constructors is a fully integrated joint venture made up of Fluor and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. with over 17 years of experience working together. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. The project is a design-build construction project that will improve the capacity and operational efficiency for the portion of I-635 north and east of Dallas, from east of U.S. Highway 75 to I-30.
We are currently seeking candidates to fulfill a Structures Foreman role. This position will manage and assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage field crew in day to day production of projects
- Exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
- Order tools and equipment
- Interpret blueprints/plans and construct accordingly
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provide leadership to others through example
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience with overseeing highway bridge construction including columns, caps, footings, beam erection and/or other related duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, client, vendors, subcontractors and visitors.
- Extensive knowledge with Steel forms required.
- Working at heights while supervising crews of 7 or more required.
- TxDOT construction experience preferred.
- Design Build Experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
