Overview:
Avant Garde Theatre of Dance, with studios in Ennis and Hubbard, Texas, is seeking a highly organized, high-energy individual to serve as our Student Enrollment & Growth Coordinator.
This role is critical to the growth and daily operations of the studio and offers opportunities for marketing, community engagement, event planning, and administrative leadership. This is the ideal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment and has a passion for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enrollment & Front Office Management
- Greet and assist students and families during studio hours.
- Facilitate new student enrollment, registration, and account setup.
- Maintain up-to-date student records, class schedules, and attendance logs.
- Support billing and payment processes in coordination with our 3rd-party partners.
- Provide personalized recommendations to families regarding classes, upgrades, and program fit.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize enrollment pipelines and processes.
2. Marketing & Communications
- Create and execute daily social media posts and live class streams.
- Manage monthly email campaigns and parent newsletters.
- Design and distribute print and digital promotional materials.
- Keep all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) active and aligned with studio goals.
- Represent the studio in the community via outreach at schools, community centers, and events.
- Communicate regularly with parents via email and GroupMe for updates and studio news.
3. Student & Parent Engagement
- Meet with parents daily to guide them through available programs.
- Promote and explain our Recreational, Protege, and Competitive Programs.
- Encourage multiple enrollments, sibling sign-ups, and upsells, daily.
- Track leads and follow up with trial participants to convert them to enrolled students.
4. Trial Month Program Oversight
- Own and manage the Trial Month program from start to finish.
- Ensure all trial students are contacted, supported, and guided through the conversion process.
5. Event & Show Planning
- Plan and manage studio events, with leadership, including performances, open houses, and fundraisers.
- Coordinate logistics such as ticket sales, rehearsals, volunteers, and parent communications.
- Collaborate with instructors to ensure seamless execution of all performances.
6. Sponsorship Acquisition & Fundraising
- Identify and secure new sponsors for shows and studio events.
- Build and maintain sponsor relationships.
- Help organize fundraising events and campaigns to support studio growth and student opportunities.
7. Merchandise & Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory of dance attire, studio gear, and merchandise.
- Coordinate merchandise sales, orders, and restocks as needed.
8. Administrative Support
- Manage studio calendar (classes, rehearsals, events, and meetings).
- Maintain organized spreadsheets, student forms, and backend documents.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to the studio director and program leads.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming, and efficient front office environment.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (8.5 hrs/day)
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (4.5 hrs)
- One weekday off (alternating Tuesday or Thursday)
Compensation:
- $12/hour
- 40 hours per week
