Under general supervision, a Student Intern performs a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative or technical duties of a general and specialized nature in support of an assigned department, division and/or program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs a wide variety of tasks depending on the department assignment by providing technical support, administrative support, and/or field work related to departmental operations or programs.
2. Provides day-to-day administrative and/or technical support to staff of assigned department as directed.
3. Assists with data entry by inputting information into computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets. Assists in data collection, compilation, tabulation, and analysis.
4. Provides support in filing and record keeping by organizing and maintaining physical and digital files.
5. Provides customer support by greeting visitors, answering phone calls, emails, and other channels and refers as appropriate.
6. Supports with event logistics, preparing materials, managing guest lists, and coordinating with vendors.
7. Assists with the creation, implementation, updates of programs, systems, and
project assistance, based on assigned department or division.
8. Protects sensitive information and adheres to company policies and procedures at all times.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a minimum 16 years of age
Enrolled as a high school sophomore or higher
Experience with computer hardware
Familiar with Microsoft Office Word, Excel preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
Ability to drive and provide proof of insurance when applicable

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Finger Dexterity: Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects.
Talking: Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.
Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Repetitive Motions: Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers.
Visual: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or other materials.
Physical: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. May have to lift folders, files, papers, audio/video equipment, and other such items weighing up to approximately 25 lbs.
