What you get to do:
- Ensure a safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
- Responsible for the development of Assistant Supervisors, OJTs, and team members by providing training, feedback and coaching
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures
- Assist in the creation and adjustment of labor line schedules to maximize our resources
- Maintain resources as needed to complete work assignments
- Ensure assigned work areas are within projected financial plans, this includes both revenue and expenses as assigned
- Assist the Director and Managers in various projects to improve park operation
- Handle conflicts between guests and/or team members seeking a win-win solution within company guidelines and strategic objectives
- Know and ensure team members follow all policies and procedures outlined in the team member handbook
- Ensure all team members provide exceptional guest service
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required
What it takes to succeed:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old
- At least 1 year proven leadership experience and a good understanding of labor and expense management.
- Able to successfully complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
- Capable and willing to become trained and certified at all areas within the Operations departments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members
- Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced working environment
- Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Able to stand for long periods of time; able to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds; comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet, around water and able to walk in sand
- Able to assist in ride testing by riding all park rides
- Available to work varying shifts or hours, which may include days, evenings and nights
- 2 or more years leadership experience preferred
- 3 years guest service experience preferred
- Possession or pursuit of a bachelor’s degree preferred
- A valid state driver’s license with the ability obtain a company driver’s license preferred
- Comfortable working at heights 150 feet preferred
