POSITION / DEPARTMENT: Supplier Quality Engineer
LOCATION: Chatsworth, CA
SHIFT: Monday thru Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
QualificationsEDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Electrical background required.
- Experience in the aerospace industry and RF experience is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing environment.
- Experience with First Article Inspection Reports in accordance to AS9102.
- Experience/Familiar with the requirements of AS9100.
- Experience with Windows software programs, such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members of all levels.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures and manuals.
- Must be highly responsive to requests, with a high attention for detail and accuracy.
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment.
- Must be well-organized, and able to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with customers and suppliers.
