Trifecta Chemical Services is seeking a detail-oriented and process driven Supply Chain Representative to optimize, develop, and maintain procedures within a chemical manufacturing or distribution environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and finished product. Monitors high volume inventory transactions daily to ensure customer satisfaction. Demonstrated leadership skills are essential to coordinate cross-functional teams, influence process improvements, and uphold high standards. Chemical experience is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
Procedure and Document Creation
· Create standardized supply chain documentation that ensures safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across all supply chain activities.
- Develop, review, and maintain detailed procedures for all supply chain functions, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution, with a focus on chemical safety and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of process documentation to incorporate process improvements and compliance changes.
- Monitor adherence to documented procedures, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to optimize safety and efficiency.
Inventory
- Review and analyze inventory levels and communicate with team-members
- Review allocation usage / contract commitments for vendors and plan purchases accordingly
- Analyze product demand and work with management on future inventory supply
- Assist with Inventory Month End month close
- Research storage capabilities at various warehouses
- Recommend new project development related to inventory
Other Supply Chain Duties
- Place order with vendors and/or warehouses in a timely manner
- Set up order logistics to maximize cost effectiveness
- Order review to ensure fulfillment of customer orders
- Assign Inbound product assignments
- Process and reconcile under orders, over orders and returned orders
- Plan and oversee logistics and transportation activities, optimizing routs and costs
- Provide great customer service
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain operations within the chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety regulations, handling procedures, and environmental standards.
- Exceptional technical writing and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of process analysis.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Proficiency in document management systems and supply chain software (Chempax or Netsuite).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with chemical industry certifications and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA, EPA regulations).
- Experience in procedure development related to hazardous materials handling.
