Job Description
Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to own supply planning demand alignment for specific product categories, monitor product performance and adjust plans based on sales trends, historic, and lead times. Partner with demand planners, and sourcing teams to align product-level plans with business needs. Use planning tools and ERP systems to maintain accurate forecasts and demand levels. Optimize safety stocks and healthy service levels with minimum excess inventory impact. This individual will need to collaborate with planning, materials and multiple cross functional teams to achieve all objectives. The position will report to the Sr. Network Planning Manager.
Your Impact
- Develop and calculate accurate supply plan forecasts for assigned product categories
- Conduct scenario planning for various demand and supply constraints with different criteria for best decision making
- Collaborate with various Ops teams to align supply chain plans with business objectives
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to align on supply plan expectations, constraints, evolving priorities
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to optimize the overall supply chain.
- Analyze data to forecast needs, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement
- Utilize advanced planning systems and tools to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and provide metrics on Supply Plan completion, accuracy, risks
- Identify and escalate issues or delays early and propose solutions
- Support budget planning and material allocation activities
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning systems are reports
- Support “what-if” analysis to help decision-making
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Must have Master’s degree in related field and 6+ years experience in supply planning, supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Use ERP or planning systems (e.g., SAP, Pigment, Anaplan) to maintain planning data integrity
- Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecast, production schedules, and inventory targets
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturing
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in managing projects with cross-functional teams
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be local in SF bay area to be onsite.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $118000 - $191500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
