Uzumaki is a modern minimalism sushi restaurant located in Culver City, serving traditional Japanese “Nigiri” and curated rolls.
We are looking for the following position/s:
Part time and Full time Sushi Chef/s (Part time needs to be able to work minimum 2 shifts/days)
(Hours for Tuesday to Thursday: 10:00am - 2:45pm and 5:00pm - Closing (around 10:00pm)
(Hours for Friday to Sunday: 3:00pm - Closing (around 10:30pm)
Requirements:
- Possess passionate demeanor for job and ability to handle high volume
- Be able to multi-task and be detail oriented
- Excellent time-management skills
- Responsible, clean, and organized
- Be able to adapt to any situations
- Be able to efficiently communicate with staffs and guests
Main responsibilities/jobs/duties:
- Prep different types of fish/Rolls/Ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, safety and food safety regulations and company guidelines
- Work and handle high volume with sense of urgency while maintaining quality and standard
- Regularly taking inventory of food supplies and other products
- Operate effectively as a part of a team

Pay is Hourly plus tip.
