In this role, you'll:

  • Analyse and manage business, functional and technical requirements, translating business needs into clear system specifications that support the successful delivery of operational technology initiatives.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and discovery sessions to gather insights, define business outcomes and build consensus across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Document functional specifications, process maps, and user case scenarios to guide solution design and implementation.
  • Lead business analysis activities across complex projects and programs, applying structured analysis methodologies to identify opportunities, assess risks and ensure solutions align with operational and strategic objectives.
  • Develop deep knowledge of system functionality, operational processes and technology capabilities, conducting research and analysis to evaluate solution options and support informed decision-making.
  • Working across projects, architecture, engineering, vendor and business teams, you will contribute to solution design, system configuration, data analysis, testing and implementation to ensure solutions are integrated, fit for purpose and aligned to organisational standards.

About you

  • You are an experienced Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience delivering technology solutions within complex technology and operational environments.
  • You have proven ability to translate business needs into system requirements that inform project scope, solution design and delivery.
  • You demonstrate an Agile mindset, embracing continuous improvement, collaboration, iterative delivery and adaptability in response to changing business priorities.
  • You thrive in situations of uncertainty, maintaining focus, influencing outcomes and delivering high-quality analysis while navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements.
  • You are highly analytical, detail-oriented and outcome-focused, with a proven ability to align technology solutions to operational needs and strategic business objectives.
  • You have a strong understanding of enterprise architecture concepts, integration patterns, information management and delivery governance frameworks.
  • With experience in operational technology, you collaborate effectively across business and technical teams, communicate clearly and produce high quality analysis artefacts that align technology solutions to operational needs.

This is a Fixed term contract till 31/12/2027 with possible extension.
