JOB SUMMARY: The Pit Supervisor is responsible for the daily Gaming Department operations. The Pit Supervisor assists in ensuring a positive guest gaming experience and the supervision of the Dealers.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides supervision to the Dealers and ensures the delivery of an exceptional gaming experience for the guest.
- Actively participates in the training, coaching, progressive discipline, and retention of Dealers.
- Has a working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and internal control policies.
- Evaluates operating procedures, recommends changes, and implements changes approved by the Table Games Manager
- Executes department directives, objectives, and communication to include hosting regular huddles for the Dealers.
- Safeguards company assets.
- Develops and implements plans to ensure the effective use of labor.
- Work in conjunction with security and surveillance to detect any floor, Team Member, or guest irregularities.
- Actively supports and leads Players Card sign up initiatives and creatively plans and executes sign up campaigns to motivate and inspire Team Members to solicit the guest and sign them up.
- Shares and communicates current and relative information with the Gaming Shift Managers
- Is aware of all upcoming special events and promotions property wide.
- Responsible and accountable to comply with all key control policies/procedures.
- Professionally resolve any floor disputes and complaints and refer any unsettled disputes to Shift Manager/MOD/Table Games Manager.
- Provides BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
- The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.
- The ability to work safely. This includes clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.
- Maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the shift.
- Assist with training/mentoring of new team members as requested.
- Maintain all appearance standards in accordance with established uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Ability to keep a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high-stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment.
- Is honest in all interactions and displays a high degree of integrity.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Prior relevant experience required.
- Prior supervising experience preferred
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Computer literate with knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.

- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work the entire property; to include the ability to tolerate changes in temperature.
- Must be able to work in environment where smoking is permitted and can be loud with guest chatter, overhead music, and live entertainment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
