Skills and Experience for Success:
- College degree in human resources, business management, or related field
- Three or more years of experience in the field preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Strong technology skills; experience with social media platforms a plus
Responsibilities:
- Implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for various departments in the organization.
- Source candidates through various channels, including but not limited to, Indeed, RWC Career Website, Linked In, Facebook & Instagram.
- Become and remain knowledgeable about all positions within the company to better understand specific job requirements and department culture.
- Interview applicants and assist managers in making hiring decisions.
- Extend offers and explain on-boarding process. Monitor and assist applicant through on-boarding.
- Conduct background and reference checks. Retrieve and licensures/certifications required.
- Onboard new hires, assist with orientation, and new hire paperwork.
- Monitor 30 day follow-ups with new hires and 90 day performance reviews.
- Utilize data and metrics to improve recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
- Implement programs to support strong employment retention rates. Plan, organize and implement employee engagement activities as part of retention. Monitor retention metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Develop a corporate presence in the community through participation in job fairs, social media, and appropriate workforce connections.
- Accepts other tasks assigned by HR Manager.
