CPA firm looking for highly motivated Full-time Tax Administrative Assistant. Please submit your resume. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CPA FIRM EXPERIENCE.
Essential Functions
- Answers incoming calls and transfers to the appropriate staff extension
- Daily maintenance/tracking of work and Departments' schedules
- Monitor / track the tax calendar, extension process, payments, due dates, etc
- Assist with Printing, Assembly, Workflow and Processing of Returns
- Faxing/Filing/Scanning/Organizing of Tax Documents and Folders
- Daily use of Document for creating Paperless Tax Environment and necessary updates
- Use of E-file system as necessary
- Monitor project pools
- Print project status reports to ensure timely filing
- Preparation of, as well as mailing out, Client Correspondence and Tax Returns
- Post office and/or Bank visits when necessary
- Contacting clients as needed for information
- Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CPA FIRM EXPERIENCE.
- You must be eager to work, determined to succeed, and willing to contribute in a growing environment
- Ability to speak, read and write functional English
- Four-Year Degree (or degree in progress)·
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, email, scanning, faxing
- Must be able to multi-task and work within strict deadlines
- Valid State Driver's License
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift per day- Monday- Friday + some weekend hours during tax seasons

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
