Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Pay: Up to $20.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Qualifications
- Valid DCDEE Qualification Letter to work in licensed childcare in North Carolina
- TB Skin Test completed prior to start date
- Recent Physical Exam (within the past year) or willingness to obtain one
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Willingness to pursue higher education if no college degree
- Associate’s or Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans, incorporating literacy and special education strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Use effective communication with students, families, and staff
- Apply behavior management techniques that support student growth
- Collaborate with peers to adapt curriculum based on developmental needs
- Provide individualized care and guidance using experience and empathy
