Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our fast-paced environment. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will be responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
- Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment for customers.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours in a quick-service or fast food restaurant setting.
Skills
- Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and handling.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is preferred but not required.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Experience in sales techniques, particularly upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
