Technical Delivery Manager

Job Position Summary:

The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) will be responsible for executing the successful delivery of a large, multifaceted client project. The TDM will coordinate with internal stakeholders and project resources, have a deep understanding of the projects, the technical solution, strategy being implemented, and can identify project opportunities and risks before they occur. The Technical Delivery Manager drives results by coordinating efforts and providing clear communication amongst stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leadership - Provide visionary leadership within the projects, collaborating with management and team members to chart the best paths forward. Lead the collaboration between the client service team, the solutions team, and the application development team to deliver innovative solutions.
• Collaboration – Lead collaboration amongst internal team members that drives the strategy for all project deliverables as well as implementation of the ultimate solution. Serve as a bridge between the project and the development teams to ensure success. Facilitate regular status meetings and activities to maintain a productive cadence.
• Technical Expertise - Capability to diagnose and resolve technical roadblocks and solutions efficiently. Analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Project & Resource Planning - Manage the planning, execution, and release of application development cycles, ensuring all deliverables are met. Identify resource needs for planned projects and participate in sprint and resource planning to ensure optimal alignment.
• Risk Management - Anticipate, track, and escalate risks and issues that may impact project success.
• Continuous Improvement - Ability to innovate and apply new technologies to improve processes and products. Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and industry dynamics.
• Additional Responsibilities - Perform other tasks and duties as required to support and contribute to the overall success of assigned projects.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, administrative, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and project deliverables simultaneously.
• Comfortable working under pressure or strict deadlines.
• Passion for learning and personal growth, specifically when it comes to technology.
• Aptitude for strategic thinking and ability to make critical recommendations.
• Self-starter with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 7-10 years of related experience working within the software development industry.
• SCRUM Master certification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating technical project teams.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
• Power user of Microsoft Office products.
