- Collaborate closely with creative leads, producers, and developers to translate experience goals into integrated, real-world installations.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors, including AV integrators, hardware suppliers, show control engineers, and fabricators.
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation, including signal flow diagrams, interface specifications, hardware layouts, and integration plans.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between interactive content systems (e.g., real-time visual media), backend management tools, and physical inputs/outputs.
- Lead the coordination and execution of on-site installation, calibration, and testing—ensuring system reliability, alignment with the creative vision, and operational readiness.
- Anticipate and resolve technical issues across disciplines, bridging gaps between software development, hardware integration, and live operations.
- Provide oversight during commissioning, document runbooks, and support training and handoff to operational teams.

- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience delivering technically complex immersive or simulation-based experiences involving custom hardware, AV systems, and real-time media.
- Solid working knowledge with integrated systems, including networking, AV routing, control protocols (e.g., OSC, UDP, DMX), and physical computing.
- Experience managing external technical vendors—such as AV integrators, fabricators, and show control engineers—across all phases of a project lifecycle.
- Proficient in designing and executing system test plans to validate performance, safety, and operational reliability.
- Familiarity with tools used for system documentation, spatial layout, and technical planning (e.g., Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Jira, Confluence).
- Working experience with show control systems, AV-over-IP networks, and interactive hardware such as sensors, motion platforms, or physical input devices.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical integration efforts, bridging software development, backend infrastructure, and hardware systems.
- Experience leading on-site integration and commissioning of complex systems—including large-format displays, sensor networks, and synchronized audiovisual environments—with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to manage evolving requirements and complex logistics under tight timelines in fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface specs, signal flow charts, and integration plans.
- Experience in themed entertainment, museum exhibitions, simulation, experiential design, or live event technology.
- Flexibility to travel for live staging and working on-site for integration testing, commissioning, and post-launch support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
