We are looking for a team member to join the Manufacturing department.
Shift Details: 9am – 6pm, In Person: Middletown, CT
Responsibilities and skills needed include:
- Ability to follow manufacturing instructions to build, assemble, package and ship various technology components including PCs, switches, media player devices, interactive kiosks and more.
- Ability to learn inventory tracking software and follow documented processes for shipping and receiving. Experience with manufacturing software such as Fishbowl a plus.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free working environment this includes delivery distribution and packaging breakdown (and disposal).
- Ensure demo hardware is in good working order and condition. Coordinate with others, i.e. development and or creative team members for their support as needed.
- Have good interpersonal skills to work closely with Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Operational Support.
- Produce various reports as needed.
- Review reports and follow up internally and with partner vendors on open items to ensure open items are received and completed.
- Facilitate and assist incoming deliveries, both via FedEx/UPS and Freight Shipments.
- Process logistic claims as needed.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
- Prepare mailing labels and shipping documents corresponding to shipping needs.
