Job Summary
Temporary Position- 11 months, recurring.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk/ Front Desk Receptionist to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming calls and conference room scheduling as well as entering customer information into our customized Laboratory Information System (LIMS). This position requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. This role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and the public. Data entry and customer service experience is required.
Duties
- Communicate with customers regarding payment and report status;
- Assist in the preparation of tours and for other visitors to the building;
- Support the administrative team with various tasks as needed;
- Utilize our custom Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and PALS to assist customers and staff;
- Data Entry;
- Use of Outlook and Outlook Calendar;
- Answering calls promptly, retrieving voice mails and returning calls as needed.
Qualifications
- 12 months minimum experience in one to one customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent phone etiquette , proper use of English and polished customer support skills.
- Proficient in proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Familiarity with office reception practices.
- Experience with LIMS or PALS a plus but not required.
- 6 months documented data entry experience.
- High school graduate or GED.
