Experience Required
The senior NVH Engineer shall demonstrate to have:
- 5+ years of proved experience in NVH development
- Knowledge in testing, and optimization for durability, reliability, sound, vibration.
- Experience in structural and acoustic data acquisition systems, both hardware and software, as well as mechanical strain measurement, are preferred.
- Experience or knowledge in LMS Test.Lab is due, knowledge of FEM/MBD SW’s (such as ANSYS, Optistruct, ADAMS) would be considered a plus.
- High Level of interpersonal and relationship skills
- Flexibility to travel abroad
- Results oriented approach and customer focus
- Experience in tractor/off-highway environment is a plus
NVH SENIOR ENGINEER
The senior NVH Engineer will apply experimental methods to:
- test-measure and analyze vibroacoustic data, in order to develop quiet and comfortable tractor product designs;
- address acoustic and vibration problems with existing products.
- Lead NVH activities in everyday work, from both technical and planning perspective
Potential focus areas include:
- structural dynamics, vibration, acoustic simulation and testing;
- systems and subsystems components (engine, gears, pump, pipe layout, …) noise;
- acoustic radiation
- acoustic mitigation methods (cabin isolation)
- development of test procedures and new methodologies
The Candidate shall work closely with various product, component and vehicle development teams, and with global engineering support center personnel around the globe, interfacing him/herself with Chief Engineers, Technical directors and other managers.
Key Responsibilities

- Support/Lead component, vehicle, and technology teams in developing reliable, quiet products.
- Plan, conduct, and supervise acoustic and vibration tests, including modal, transient and steady-state vibration, rotating machinery, sound pressure and power, intensity, transmission loss, material characterization, and transfer path analysis.
- Prioritize requests, select suitable tests independently, supervise execution, validate and interpret data, and document results.
- Define vehicle setups, select measurement tools and locations, and lead vehicle development.
- Use and install microphones, accelerometers, pressure and temperature sensors and data-acquisition systems on vehicles or drivelines.
- Apply noise-analysis methods in time, frequency, and order domains; modal-analysis knowledge is preferred.
- Produce clear final test reports supporting technical problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Company safety requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Applied Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering or Physics (with focus in Acoustics and Vibration)
- Formal coursework in structural dynamic, acoustics, vibration, structural mechanics and digital signal processing required.
- NVH simulation background (either FEM or Multi-Body Dynamics or both) is a plus
- Very Good (Technical) English language knowledge. (B1 or B2 equivalent)
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is EUR €39,000.00 - €47,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
