Job Summary
The Testing Services Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient administration of exams at Purdue Testing Services (PTS) by providing high level administrative support for testing service processes. This position is responsible for overseeing exam processing, secure handling of exams, and compliance with student accommodations. The role includes managing testing logistics, maintaining accurate records in RegisterBlast, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with FERPA and vendor-based testing policies, guidelines, and regulations.
The Testing Services Administrator also assists with vendor-based testing programs (Pearson, CLEP, GRE, Praxis) and provides evening coverage when necessary which includes a minimum of one evening per week during fall/spring semesters.

What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- High school diploma/GED Four (4) years of relevant experience in testing administration, student support, or office coordination.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage daily exam processing.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision, making operational decisions when necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain testing policies and procedures to faculty, students, and staff.
- Experience handling confidential student information in compliance with FERPA regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with testing equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment. Comfortable working with diverse student populations and ensuring accessibility in testing environments.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Student Affairs, Psychology, or a related field. Prior experience in higher education testing services
