Overview
We are seeking a skilled tile installer with previous experience in tile installation to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various installation tasks and have experience with a range of construction skills. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As part of our installation team you will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed efficiently and to our high quality standards.
We provide installations in Southern Utah and surrounding areas (as far north as Beaver and Beaver Mtn and as far South as St. George). The majority of our work is located in the Cedar City area.
Duties
- Perform tile installation tasks for various projects, including but not limited to flooring and showers.
- Set up and take down of tools and machinery.
- Assist in installation projects and other related activities.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager.
Applicant Requirements
- Proven experience in tile installation work or related fields such as construction or remodeling.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods including but not limited to being able to lift/carry 35-80 pounds often.
- Dependable vehicle/mode of transportation to job site.
Opportunity and Compensation
- Starting wage of $18-$24 per hour, depending on previous tile experience and the ability to complete tasks independently.
