Title: Full-Time One-Year-Old Teacher – Childcare
Location: Learn n Grow Childcare Center – DeLand, FL
We’re seeking a loving, reliable, and energetic full-time teacher for our two-year-old classroom! You’ll create a safe, playful space where toddlers can thrive. Must have 45 DCF hours, Level 2 background screening, and CPR/First Aid.
The start date for this postion is August 18th.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Incorporate play-based learning activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall growth of each child.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred.
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and special education strategies is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is beneficial.
- Experience as a nanny or in similar roles can be advantageous.
