Granite Peak Transloading is hiring transloaders at our Wright terminal. We are a 24/7 operation that is directly tied to the oilfield.
Transloader positions: Previous oil field experience is beneficial but not required. This is a 24/7 operation with 12 hour shifts.
Job Duties
The Transloader will be responsible for basic duties of loading and unloading different type of sand from rail cars into trucks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently manage the transfer of sand from railcars into trucks and inspect the amount of product in each railcar.
- Guide truck drivers when coming into the facility.
- Communicate clearly by radio.
- Execute basic data entry into the computer system.
- Inspect the calibration on the conveyer belts to check product weight is properly captured.
- Inspect basic functions of the conveyer belts and report to proper personnel.
- Adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Terminal Supervisor
Key Requirements
- Must be able to work outdoors in all environments year round, and take direction to perform individual tasks that contribute to the team's success.
- Must be able to physically able to lift, bend, and push-pull significant weight.
- You must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
- Must be cooperative and able to work in a team environment.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications such as a Motor Vehicle Record Check, Employment Verification, and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
