Type: Travel Contract – No Local Candidates (must live 50+ miles from facility)
Position Overview:
Swedish American Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our Echo/Vascular Lab team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing cardiac ultrasound examinations, providing accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers for interpretation and patient care planning
- Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital standards
- Adhere to all infection control and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Active ARDMS or CCI certification
- Current BLS certification
- Recent cardiac sonography experience preferred
- Must reside more than 50 miles from Rockford, IL (no local applicants)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,006.00 per week
