Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking tree service laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a willingness to learn various skills related to tree care. This role involves operating equipment such as chippers, dump trucks and driving large vehicles as well as contributing to the overall maintenance of equipment and groundwork. A good work ethic and clean driving record are essential to this position.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently for tree trimming and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in tree care activities including operating chainsaws, driving heavy duty vehicles, and maintaining equipment essential for everyday use.
- Working as a team to expedite projects timely and efficiently.
- Maintanance of tools and equipment to maintain them in good working condition through regular cleaning and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in tree care, lawn care, or landscaping is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with operating large equipment and driving large trucks is essential.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work.
