Position Summary
7th Avenue is looking for a versatile creative Content Producer to join our Content Team. This role will be responsible for the ideation, pitching, production, and editing of high-impact video and photos assets for use across all branded social media channels (both paid and organic). This includes shooting original content at our headquarters, at our showrooms around the country, and at styled home shoots in greater Los Angeles.
On-camera confidence, an eye for aesthetic design, and experience creating on-trend original photo and video assets for social media is a must.
The right candidate is self motivated, creative, ambitious, detail oriented, solution driven and extremely organized. We are looking for someone who understands the intersection of entertainment and product education to create natural, engaging, organic content that converts.
This is a hybrid remote position (flexible mix of at-home, office, and on-set work time) on a fast-growing team based in Los Angeles. Motivated candidates will find room to grow with the company.
Responsibilities
- Research relevant trends and pitch ideas for production that align with the brand’s overarching strategy, marketing goals, product launches, and messaging guidelines
- Produce, film, edit, and post assigned video content for daily distribution across organic social channels, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, and Youtube Shorts
- Assist Content Director with content planning and production for styled shoots, including scouting locations, styling sets, ordering props, and shooting and editing mobile & BTS content
- Assist Content Director in development of in-house production studio, including necessary lighting, styling, gear, etc., to be used for shooting social media content, assembly content, and educational videos as needed
- Assist Content Director in scheduling and posting daily content to all brand accounts (including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube) according to content calendar
- Assist Content Director in sourcing, reviewing, editing, and approving content submitted by social media partners and collaborators and ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Reply to comments and DMs in a timely manner, escalating customer service issues for prompt resolution as needed
- Travel to showrooms nationwide to produce content as needed
Qualifications / Experience
- 5+ years of experience creating professional brand content for social media
- Digitally connected with a deep understanding of social platforms, online communities, and trends
- Knowledge and understanding of content scheduling platforms and content editing apps
- Extremely organized with a love for calendars and an eye for detail
- Professional and courteous in written and verbal communication, especially with customers
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Experience producing video and photo content for social media
- Ability to problem solve with available resources
- Ability to self-manage time, schedule, and deliverables to accommodate evening and weekend comment replies as needed
- Familiarity with team communication via Slack
- Ability to work from Los Angeles with a flexible hybrid schedule
