Overview
We are seeking dedicated and disciplined Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Unarmed Security Officer Position in Atlanta, Ga. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct unarmed foot patrol (interior/exterior) of client site/property.
- Detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or client rule infractions at or near assigned post which may be a threat to the property, client or employees at site.
- Respond in a timely manner to all accidents and incidents including emergencies, fires, alarms, bomb threats, and intrusions by following emergency response proceedings in accordance with the Operating Procedure.
- Investigate and write digital reports on all incidents and accidents.
- Report to work on time and complete shift assignments in assigned complete clean uniform.
- Understand and successfully executes his/her post orders including the enforcement of client rules and regulations, as well as company policies.
- Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives
- Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments
•Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general person in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to frequently prepare digital reports and logs.
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
- Must be able to handle pressure of working with movie & music production events or filming. Confidentiality and Discretion is requirement.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Utilization of de-escalation techniques only in challenging situations.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Required Experience
- 2yr. minimum Guard experience.
- Must provide accurate resume with references.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Applicants must have two forms of identification, (a valid state issued identification card or driver’s license, passport, birth certificate and/or social security card.
- Applicants must have a copy of recent criminal background check.
- Must pass company drug screening at a certified drug testing lab.
