Unarmed Security Guard - Part Time - Weekends

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.

Duties

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to security incidents.
• Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate situations as they arise.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
• Participate in loss prevention strategies to protect company assets.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred; military experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment operation is essential.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.50 per week
