Job Title: Universal Banker Department: Kellyville
Job Summary:
The Universal Banker position combines the duties of the Teller and Personal Banker. All universal bankers should have a working knowledge of bank products and services in order to assist a customer when opening a personal or business account relationship. Recognize the needs of customers in order to cross-sell additional bank services and products. Update and complete maintenance on existing accounts. Assist customers by phone or in person with any type of problem or question about their account. They should possess patience, a healthy sense of humor and a positive attitude at all times as well as having the ability to be flexible when appropriate. Attend meetings as required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, efficient, accurate, and friendly service to consumer and business customers while processing their transactions.
- Follow all established bank policies and procedures for this position. Adhere to all audit, state, federal and regulatory agency requirements.
- Update and complete maintenance on existing accounts.
- Corrects and resolves all exceptions in a timely manner.
- Have a basic understanding of loan products, processes and documents in order to assist with loan closings as necessary. May be required to issues checks, wires or drafts, scan loan documents and file lien entry forms or other basic loan administrative functions.
- Act as a representative of the bank by demonstrating the four C’s of professionalism: competence, confidence, confidentiality, and courtesy as well as dressing in an appropriate manner according to AHB’s personnel policies.
- Have a working knowledge of bank products and services, be able to recognize customer needs, explain the benefits in order to meet their needs.
- Establish a good working relationship with co-workers.
- Provide quality customer service by answering questions or resolving problems for customers by phone or in person.
- Perform any duties requested by a supervisor relating to the bank and its functions.
- Is dependable and adheres to expectations of attendance.
