Summary:
As a Universal Banker, you will be a vital part of our credit union team, responsible for providing exceptional member service while handling cash transactions efficiently and accurately. With core skills in banking, basic math, and customer service, you will assist members with their financial needs and inquiries. Your relevant skills in cash management and retail math will ensure smooth operations at the teller station. A high school diploma or GED, clean criminal background, and reliable transportation is required for this role. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to bank customers
- Perform various transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Assist customers with account inquiries and problem resolution
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs
- Maintain accurate transaction records and balance cash drawer
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including fraud prevention and detection
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Strong math skills, including basic math calculations and retail math concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling financial transactions
- Knowledge and/or experience with loan processing is preferred
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is preferred
