Westminster Christian Academy is currently seeking a head girls golf coach for the 2024-25 season. Ideal candidates will possess strengths in the areas of relationship building, communication, organization, and knowledge of the sport. Previous head coaching experience is a plus but not required.
This is a stipend position that will be paid according to the Westminster athletic stipend schedule. Possible full-time employment at Westminster is based on a separate interview process and dependent upon job openings within the school.

Responsibilities
- Promoting spiritual growth in the golf athletes
- Creating a culture in the girls golf program consistent with the Westminster Athletic Ten Pillars
- Developing relationships with golf athletes and parents
- Working with other schools, golf courses, and the athletic office to create the varsity and junior varsity competition schedules
- Planning practices for the season which includes securing locations and creating practice plans
- Assisting athletes in creating plans for offseason improvement
- Recruitment and development of assistant and lower level coaches
Qualifications
- Fulfillment of MSHSAA coaching requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to athletes, parents, and coaches
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for athletes
- Strong and proven verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and implement daily practice plans
- In-depth knowledge of the rules of golf and basic knowledge of the fundamentals of the golf swing
