DMS Facility Services is currently searching for a Utility Box Building Worker to be added to our team.
Under the direction of the Facility Supervisor the Utility Box Building Worker will follow the company’s box building process. Box building consists of combining corrugated boxes with wood pallets using a pneumatic stapler. Boxes are then transported to various locations throughout the warehouse for shipping. Perform various cleaning activities such as mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms and office areas.
Schedule: 2nd shift- 02:00pm- 10:30pm Monday- Friday.
Pay Rate: $17.00/ Hr.
Utility Box Building Worker Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Must connect corrugate boxes with wood pallets using a pneumatic staple gun meeting daily requirements
- Evaluate all recycled boxes/pallets and separate useable from unusable
- Must be able to operate box building machine. Some mechanical knowledge required.
- Operate various forklifts and utility carts.
- Lift, carry, and move dumpsters and equipment using moving equipment as well as manually.
- Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, cleaning restrooms and office area.
- Support all environmental, Health and Safety programs, policies, and regulations.
- Combine and repair corrugated boxes with wood pallets using a pneumatic stapler gun.
- Transport and build boxes /pallets to various locations throughout the warehouse.
- Keep all designated locations filled with built boxes.
Utility Box Building Worker Requirements:
- Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening.
- 1 year forklift experience
