We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Utility Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires working in all seasonal weather conditions. installation of water and sewer utilities. Previous experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Assist in the installation of water and sewer utilities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in utilities, pipe laying or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
