To support this mission, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Property Inspector to join us as an independent contractor. This role is key to ensuring our homes are clean, fully stocked, and guest-ready prior to each arrival.
What You’ll Do
- Perform detailed inspections at vacation rentals to assess cleanliness, inventory, maintenance needs, and overall readiness
- Conduct a variety of inspection types, including:
- Primary Guest Inspections
- Pre-Owner Stay Inspections
- Quick Inspections
- Vacancy Inspections
- Owner Stay Inspections
- Complete standardized inspection walkthroughs and submit reports using our property management software
- Perform light cleaning touch-ups and minor repairs (i.e.replace lightbulbs, batteries, filters)
- Ensure inventory items are present and in good condition
- Drop off wristbands at select properties when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work independently and follow standardized procedures
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to use a smartphone or tablet to document inspections
- Willingness to travel between properties in the St. George area
- Must be able to perform light physical labor
Contractor Details
- This is a 1099 contractor position
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, workers’ compensation, and equipment
- Flexible schedule with availability needed Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- No guarantee or expectation of a set number of assignments
- Must travel throughout Southern Utah (Hurricane, Washington, St. George, Santa Clara, and Ivins)
- May complete 5-10 inspections per day, based on availability
- Must act with urgency and discretion on guest-impacting issues
- Compensation is paid per unit, based on the number of bedrooms:
Pay Rate by Bedroom Count per Unit
- 1 Bedroom – $15.00
- 2–3 Bedrooms – $20.00
- 4–5 Bedrooms – $25.00
- 6–7 Bedrooms – $30.00
- 8–9+ Bedrooms – $35.00
- Wristband Drop-Offs – $5.00 per drop-off
