Job description
Veeva Platform Specialist / Solution Architect
Do you want to take ownership of business-critical platforms that enable vital R&D processes? We are looking for an experienced Veeva Platform Specialist / Solution Architect to join Enterprise Digital Enablement.

Your new role
You will join a team of experienced Veeva Platform Specialists, Solution Architects and IT Project Managers who together provide an end-to-end perspective on R&D IT delivery. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Solution Architecture and hands-on Veeva Platform expertise, with Veeva as one of your primary technology platforms.
You will:
- Help shape how we design, configure, integrate and evolve the Veeva platform and Vault applications.
- Govern and execute Veeva Platform yearly wheel activities, ensure clear communication with key stakeholders and facilitate platform initiatives.
- Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions, ensuring our platforms remain secure, compliant, scalable and aligned with Lundbeck’s architecture and design principles.
- Contribute to solution architecture and design across other platforms and systems within the R&D IT landscape.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, vendors and partners to turn requirements into robust and sustainable solutions.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding the bigger architectural picture while also getting close to the technology and understanding how solutions work in practice.
Why is this a great opportunity?
This role offers a unique combination of Veeva Platform ownership, Solution Architecture and R&D IT delivery.
You will work with Veeva as an enterprise platform supporting multiple business areas across Lundbeck, while also contributing to solution architecture activities with a particular focus on R&D. In close collaboration with colleagues across Enterprise Digital Enablement and business areas across Lundbeck, as well as external partners, you will participate in technology and vendor selection activities, including RfI and RfP processes, solution and supplier assessments, and support solutions through validation (GxP), commissioning and handover to operations"
You will also provide limited support for incidents related to applications and systems within the R&D IT portfolio.
