JSA TAGS is looking for a DMV Registration Specialist to join our busy, upbeat service center. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for processing vehicle registrations for customers and dealerships across all 50 states. Whether it's handling paperwork, answering calls, or mailing out plates, you’ll be a key part of keeping things running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handle and process paperwork from car dealerships to help customers register their vehicles nationwide
- File documents accurately and according to each state’s requirements
- Answer phones with a friendly, professional tone to assist both customers and dealerships
- Follow up on pending registrations to make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Package and mail completed license plates and registration documents
- Keep a sharp eye for detail to avoid any mistakes or delays
- Communicate with dealerships to clear up any issues
- Help walk-in customers with their DMV-related needs
- Accurately bill incoming work
What You Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent (bonus points for extra certifications or training)
- Experience with DMV work, registrations, or car dealership paperwork is helpful—but not required
- Super organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable talking to people and explaining things clearly
- Can juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, data entry)
- A strong sense of customer service—you genuinely like helping people
- A valid NYS driver’s license or State ID is a must
- Dependable and punctual—you show up and follow through
- Spanish-speaking is a plus!
